Fireworks Prohibited by HOA Restrictions and City Ordinance

As we celebrate Independence Day and the 250th Anniversary of the United States, the Chandler Creek HOA Board of Directors wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday.
While we recognize that fireworks are a traditional part of many Independence Day celebrations, residents are reminded that the possession, use, or discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited within Chandler Creek. This prohibition is contained in the Association's Governing Documents and is also enforced under City of Round Rock ordinances, as Chandler Creek is located within the City's 5,000-foot extraterritorial enforcement zone.
Violations may result in criminal penalties, including a Class A misdemeanor and fines of up to $2,000.
More importantly, fireworks present a significant risk to people, pets, homes, vehicles, and common areas. With dry summer conditions and homes located in close proximity, a single firework can quickly create a dangerous situation for the entire community.
We ask all residents and their guests to celebrate responsibly by attending public fireworks displays and leaving personal fireworks to the professionals. Landlords are encouraged to share this information with their tenants.
